19/06/2006 08:46:57   Danny   My V4 estate now makes a horrid banging noise which sounds like the exhaust is hitting the floor. I have modified the exhaust to a twin pipe system but it is strapped up in all manner of places and even jumping on the car when staitionary and wiggling the pipes eratically when stationary produce no noise at all. Any ideas anyone?!~

23/06/2006 23:34:53   David   poor Ingrid - have you been abusing her again?

09/07/2006 19:44:53   David   "Blue" is coming along slowly - been taking the 99T to a few shows locally and putting in a new bathroom so not much time spent on the V4. I have most of the mechanical bits now - new bushes all round, brake hoses (stainless)
discs, cables, pads and shoes, calipers going away for refurb, new bearings all round etc. There's a small amount of welding (a lot less than on Ingrid!) to do - just refurbished my MIG outfit so it will work better - and the engine bay to clean before the repolacement donkey goes in. Then up for MoT and will be driven around a bit before the next phase - new interior and a smart paint job.
