18/05/2005 19:38:08   mark   Hi my 73 96 was running fine and now i have no spark at plugs.new dizzy, condenser, points.could it be coil?how do i test coil?
19/05/2005 07:56:17   Richard   You can check with a multimeter to some degree. Check across the + and - and ht and - (I think correct me if wrong). Basically its easier to replace it to be certain. Check the ht leads are ok and that you have not knocked off one of the conections on to the coil (always a favourite when in the engine bay).

21/05/2005 16:07:35   paul   its a fair bet, and its pretty cheap to replace (less than 20) so it would probably be worth replacing it to see if it fixes the problem. If this doesnt work, start checking all the electrical connections are nice and shiny and checking continuity along wires. Infact, try that first as its free!

22/05/2005 08:32:26   paul   do you mean no voltage or no resistance? or infinate resistance?
