20/08/2005 09:41:37   Gus   Finally got my V4 fired up after building the engine about 6 years ago! Seems fine, though I have a pretty persistent coolant leak from the water pump side - so many hose round there I can't tell what is at fault...could be the water pump itself I guess? My mechanic friend asked if I'd replaced the core plugs? To be honest I can't remember! Possibly not. Anyone got any ideas before I strip that side down again. Also, does anyone know of a source for a new water pump and/or new hoses?

Pumps you can get again from a decent factor, or a Ford specialist like Burton, but keep an eye on eBay as there is usually the odd pump on there.
