21/10/2005 12:10:46   Olga   Hi I was wondering my bumpers aluminum strip needs replacing is there any one out there producing aluminium strips that I could use as a replacement.
21/10/2005 13:15:24   Derek   '76L(rubber bumper) strips should be stainless steel. Depending on how fussy you are about the final result you can usually improve them a lot with a panel beaters hammer, large flat face, and a flat piece of hardwood. Use the hammer on the back of the strip. Heavy scratches can be reduced with wet'n dry before using metal polish. Final result depends on your patience :-) Alternately you might be able to find a chrome plater near you who would buff them up. The strips won't be the easiest of things to polish with a buffing wheel.
