600+ pics. Lotsa people shots but cars from 2 cyl 92, Sonetts, Saabo Good ref pics), F.I.V4's, Spyker, etc etc. Worth a browse. Looks as if it was a great meet with super weather. | 3 L A T E S T R E P L I E S (Newest First) | Powar | Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 15:03:36 The Saabo actually belongs to Chip. I believe he purchased it along with the two 95s from the GM Heritage Collection.
I was at the event and it was a great one. The track day was the highlight for me, but I'll not bore you with pictures since I didn't take one of my V4s.
'68 95/'69 96 DeLuxe/'73 Sonett III/'90 900S | blue95V4 | Posted - 05 Aug 2010 : 13:33:10 Superb pics - some beautiful cars. Chip Lamb told me he was there - and his pic proves it - I've seen that 95 "in the flesh" at his place in Richmond, along with the rest of his collection. I quite like the Spyker vert on page 18 and, of course, the Saabo grabbed my attention. I think it is (or was) Bruce Turk's - not many of them in the States (2, I think). I've unashamedly copied the photos to my Saabo folder, for inspiration and use in the ongoing restoration work.
David (95 V4, 260-2 Saabo and a 96 2T, plus a modern Saab - enough for the time being!) | UK_Sub | Posted - 26 Jul 2010 : 15:31:46 Great spot Derek - thanks!
I hadn't seen the artist impressions of the proposed 'baby Saab' - doesn't look too bad, not just a retro-styled car like the Mini and Fiat. |
