Put her in for an MOT today, as I hope to get her on the road by the middle of next week and wanted a fail list to work to, failed on corrosion near jacking point on both sides which was expected, also on excessive corrosion to ferrules on both front flexi pipes, drive to MOT exposed an issue of what seems like fuel starvation, tank is chief suspect, other than that the car drives nicely, not bad for a 34 year old car which has been off the road for the past 18!

She arrived this morning, very solid has been ziebarted which looks terrible in engine bay but has kept her very solid, some scabby bits on wings and also in area behind ns rear side window but floors etc look great, very smoky and not running well, hoping fresh fuel and a run will improve things, sadly no more progress until I get back my holidays! itching to be driving a V4 daily again!

John sent me a pic of the car today..it looks to be in very good condition..the seats look like they are in great condition..the right colour and not hanging in shreds. The paint also looks to be very good. I did get a message to say that there was a petrol leak though..not supprising if it's been off the road for a while.

Great stuff John - now there's a picture we need to get - 3 Souvenirs. What number is it? Strange its an S plate as most are R plates like mine and Kenny's. I call in and have a look soon.

The "new" V4 has been picked up and is making its way north, the tax disc is dated 1993 so maybe not surprising no one seems to know of it, my brothers opinion is it looks fairly good, between myself Morticus and P.Dickens we must have the highest concentrations of Souvenirs in the UK?
