I'm looking for help sourcing the needles which go inside the driveshaft caps. After looking inside mine there seem to be several of the needles missing on the drivers side. I can't find any for sale anywhere. Hoping someone here can help! The car is a 1974 v4.

These are the ones: http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w139/SaabyWoody/DSCF0918.jpg

Right! Well I tried the largest bearing supplier in the south who can't help. (Although they may be able to order them by the 1000!)
So, I would be grateful if anyone here wouldn't mind helping me out.

Thanks for the replies. I've had a look on Yellow Pages and found a Bearing supplier nearby. I'll try them first next week and then if they can't help I'll be back on here to see if you wouldn't mind sparing some.

I didn't know that! Very useful! Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. I'll try and check tomorrow. I think there were about 10 missing.

There should be 25 in one bearing cup, needle size is 2,5 mm x 12 mm. How many do you need? I have some for you as well.

I do have some somewhere - I needed some for a similar reason a while back, and someone on here kindly supplied more than I needed! BUT - all my stuff is in storage at present pending a house move. I doubt I'll be able to access them until the new year. If you are still stuck then, PM me and I'll dig them out for you.

Meanwhile, I'm sure someone else on here will have some!
