Haven't seen a V4 by chance for years, then two this month. A poison green 96 on the A1 heading north near Dunbar today, and a blue 95 heading south on the M1 near Sheffield on the 14th.

Sadly, I wasn't in a Saab either time!

Spotted at 'Classics on the Prom' in Bournemouth on New Years day

Looked like quite a recent restoration - it was extremely clean and straight, inside and out.
Was hoping to see Mark's blue 95 and a local white 95 there, but perhaps they went to a similar event in Poole instead?

A few weeks ago I spotted two 96s in the window of the former Hartwells Citroën dealership on Newbridge Road in Bath from the top deck of the airport bus. I finally had time to investigate today and there was only one left (a long nose two stroke, BJK 647D, see here for more details on that car: https://www.racecarsdirect.com/Advert/Details/80063/saab-96-sport-race-car-1965). The other one was a slightly darker red I think. Unfortunately there was no one on site.

Apparently the Charles Ware Trust has opened a museum there, I'm assuming this was the personal collection of the late Morris Minor restorer and local hero (https://www.theguardian.com/society/2015/jul/14/charles-ware)? I also spotted a very nice Morris GPO van, so I'll definitely go back during opening hours. Also see https://charleswaretrust.org/ Simply Saab in Bristol is part of the Charles Ware group, maybe that's the reason for the lonely Saab amongst mostly Morris Minors?

I have seen a 96, on the road by sheer chance, on two occasions, one was very close to my home a couple of years ago, a Dutch, (or maybe Danish), registered 95, and one was a 96 in Sweden in 2015.

Not a V4, but when I cycled up Winsley Hill (B3108) near Bath earlier this afternoon I was overtaken by a faded light blue two stroke 96 with a rusty rear bumper and a few (rally?) stickers. Not seen it before and wonder who it was.

No chance of SAAB jobs this week as came out to Palma for Christmas and ended up staying longer than planned. Haven’t seen any real SAABs out here, not many classic cars in general really though there are lots of cool motorbikes.

Spotted a mid blue K-reg 95 on the M25 last night (about 10pm), heading North towards Heathrow - it looked in great condition!
