ian f | Posted - 24 May 2008 : 08:05:32 Hi,
I've long admired the way that some folk include pics in their postings to illustrate a point - can anyone explain how to do this (preferably in words of one syllable)? I've tried copying & pasting a jpeg into a message but the forum doesn't appear to allow jpegs to be copied directly into messages.
Cheers!

Well, it's been two weeks since my v4 passes its MOT and I have driven it pretty much every day since!
Usual minor issues with the SOLEX carb, and I really must get all the scruffy paintwork sorted out..but who cares now its on the road!
Any other V4's out the in the Bristol / Bath area? |

Thanks for that! Your instructions have been put to good use in the general technical section under 'hub puller'.
Cheers!

UK_Sub | Posted - 24 May 2008 : 12:44:19 This is quite tricky, but once you've done it once - it's a doddle.
Firstly you'll need an account with www.photobucket.com (its free and you can add all your pictures and video clips).
Make sure your original image is about 600 pixels wide and 72dpi and upload it to Photobucket.
Once its on there - you'll see 4 links posted under the image - you need to copy the 'IMG Code'.
Then go back to your post/message on the forum (this works for just about every forum), and add the link to your post. HOWEVER - for some strange reason you need to change the code at the beginning and end of the link from (IMG) and (/IMG) to lowercase ie: (img) and (/img).
That's about as clear as I can make it. Give it a try and test your post by hitting the preview button.
Good luck!
