Have you ever used your SAH adaptor Burrrt? No, they're not as good as a 4-stud manifold, but they do work. The SAH kit of adaptor, DCD carb & twin tailpipe exhaust was worth about 10bhp, so not to be sniffed at. I have used the SAH + DCD & Jetex on an otherwise standard engine, and it made it quite lively, took away all the standard 3rd & 4th gear asthmatic tendencies above 4500 rpm...and gave better low-end response with improved fuel economy.

Twin choke manifold is only worth £70 or so. Carbs always be picked up for less then £50. One that's jetted right makes it worth more.

I'm not a fan of the adaptor plates. I can't see how breathing a twin choke carb through a small hole can make much difference. More noise and not much power increase I think.

I've got an SAH one spare if anyone's interested.

How much for a twin carb manifold on eBay the?

No one got one lying around they want to get rid of?

The adaptor plate would be a very good thing to have made up, there are so many of the suitable Weber twin choke carbs kicking around, I know they are not as good as a twin choke inlet manifold but they look simple to have fabricated and I have found them to work very well.

Hi, I was considering making one as I've been seeing suitable carbs for approx £30. I've got some facilities at work so think I will take a look at this in the coming weeks. I see it's now over £200 on e-bay, makes you wonder how high it will go!

The above manifold assy, looks nice but I think might be too much money.
The adaptors for the standard manifold, I have not seen any on ebay for a long time. SAH made one variant which was drilled for both breathers. I wonder if it might not be possible to reproduce this in an alternative material?

Its worth as much as you are willing to pay. Way over the odds is normal. The price is currently US $410.00 with three days to go. I am sure the price will become interesting nearer the end.

What is this set-up worth - in monetry terms? Are the adaptpors (to be able to use twin choke on otherwise standard inlet manifold) available new anywhere or is it a case of keeping an eye on e-bay?
