Not strictly rallying but on September 2nd and 3rd I ran my trustly rally V4 in the Boness Revival hill climb, definitely out of the car's comfort zone never mind the driver's!
All in all had a great weekend and to top it all one of the runs was shown in full on MotorsTV programme with some rather nice comments about Saabs. Only downside was they gave my times which were not great but the car was never intended for that kind of abuse.
Programme was first shown at the weekend but will be repeated over the coming weeks and hopefully keeps the 96 profile in the public eye. Apart from the Saab the programme is well worth a look, some fantastic cars, might even do it again next year.

Finally caught your run in the 96 - car looks good - well done for having a go! Good to see a V4 being used in competition.

Must admit I'm tempted to bring the Sonett up, but the course looks a bit tight with those big bales everywhere. Doesn't look much room for left foot braking - I guess you have to keep it straight and tidy. Looks a fun event and there are not many events now where you can run a std road car so definitely worth thinking about.

It would be great to see a Sonnet in full flight on the hill. If you run in the road going class the car only needs to be road legal and you need personal gear but it only needs to comply with current regs no requirement to be in date. Maybe see you next year?

I watched this last night kinloch.

Your car looked excellent . . . . .very interesting.

How long is the track and how high does it climb ?

ps . . . .The 96 run starts at 21 minutes in.

Seen the last half of this and saw the whole of last years - will look out for the numerous repeats and catch your 96.

Looks a great event with a huge variety of cars - wouldn't mind taking the Sonett to this and having a go sometime!

Programme is repeated tomorrow morning at 8.45am

The programme is "Bo'ness Revival" on channel 447 using Sky. Last year's one was repeated about 20 times, not sure when the next repeat is but if I come across it I'll post details. Apparently last year's was one of the most watched shows.

Great, what is the program called?
