Recently there has been a trend for v4s on eBay to “sell” and then reappear. The latest is a black 95 in Edinburgh and a green 96 I think in Yorkshire.

Whenever I've watched EBay listings I notice people listing things with a low start price to perhaps gauge interest and find out what something is worth; then they end the sale early and re-list the item with a start price a little higher than previous bidding to try and tease out a bit from from the sale.
I don't know if this is what people are doing but that's the pattern I see.

People buying as a project then realising that theres more work needed than they can cope with?

Or possibly people hoping to make a quick buck by throwing a bucket of water over it and marking the price up by £2k, cause its a classic car innit.
