OK, I've given in and created a Tradera account.

Yes, green96v4 linked to that ad earlier. I've just put up a wanted ad on the Danish forum, I should perhaps create a Tradera account as well. Have been putting that off for years to avoid having to resist yet more temptations!

Woody, do you have a part number for the tool?

Melle - have you seen this?

These are the Saab factory compressors. I have these - great piece of kit. They are ok for Competition springs without having to use the initial long compressor like above.

It actually looks much more useful than the one I was initially looking for, so if anyone has one they're wiling to part with, let me know! I made a long compressor a few years ago:

I have one of that type..it can be used without removing the wing unlike the other..it's a bit tight but can be done and it's wound in/out using a 3/4 socket wrench. Once the spring is off you need the long spring compressor if you are changing springs. (pics to follow as it will be in use any day now)

'73 96 (Vernon),'74 95 (Veronica)plus 4 other 95's and 2 96's

it shows up in a 1975 workshop manual pdf I have, Tradera account is easy enough to set up, most sellers are good enough to figure out overseas shipping and paypal (the int. transfers can be expensive)

Thanks! Not seen that, don't have a Tradera account. Never seen that type before.

NP, let me know if nothing else comes up

Yes, that looks like it could be bent back. I prefer a complete set with original cups, but would definitely consider yours if nothing suitable turns up. I'm not in a real hurry though.

Yep that’s the one. Steve Binns was a neighbour and turned up with a box of tools one night, was probably going to chuck them out!!!
