Hi Guys,

Im getting a little short on space and am considering selling the V4. I am going to really miss it but Im trying to put a logical head on which car to sell.

Id want a "nice" sale without the hassle. Im not sure what its worth and would appreciate opinions on realistic valuations.

The car is in dedicated dehumidified storage until April so not in a rush to sell.

Its a solid 96 with the following spec, some of which has been added since last pics

Engine
1710 with pinto pistons. Block was diamond bored to crank centreline at the same shop that does 6R4 engines.
Dynamically balanced crank with correct bob weights
V6 rods
Kent fast road cam
Hardened valve seats
Cross over manifold with jenvey throttle bodies and DTA management
Fuel tank converted for fuel injection
Lightened flywheel
New thicker core radiator
Alloy Rocker covers

Transmission standard but never given any trouble
Converted flywheel and clutch for diaphram

New brake master cylinder
New brake calipers and discs plus good rear drums and new cylinders etc.

Full new sills both sides welded

New windscreen

Stainless steel bumpers

Compomotive alloy wheels

Dunlop sport tyres

Jetex exhaust

Sport and rally steering wheel

Custom built double adjustable shock absorbers

Only flaws

Little tear in headlining
Some lacquer come away from front drivers wing
Drivers door could do with reflatting as paintwork has sunk

what Simon said - I have dreamt of such madness (does a T16 engine fit in the 95/96 engine bay easily??)

You what now, a 95 t16!?!
Speedysaab123Posted - 23 Feb 2018 : 20:41:08
I know it's either this or the track 99 I think. I'm just so time short I'm struggling to justify keeping so many cars.

The 95 t16 has taken so much time to complete I might just be a bit burnt out. Maybe sense will prevail and I'll keep her!

If I do sell - what do you think a realistic value would be?

It's in a paid dehumidified storage for a month or so anyway so no rush

Thanks
Rob

Ooooooh....shame to read this, Rob.

Valuation is tough. A really good standard car seems to be in the 5-7K region these days, maybe a touch more for something truly exceptional. With your mods - very hard to value.

Running and bodging Saabs since the dark ages...
