Anyone know a source of standard exhaust parts (besides Malbrad; they're looking a bit expensive)? Thanks

Are you looking for direct replacement, or compatible? There is a Nottingham Co, PD Gough & Co. see http://www.pdgough.com/
They make Austenitic stainless exhaust systems. I believe they have made them for Saabs in the past and may be able to make one. Have no idea of cost.
If you have an existing system that is at the end of its life, a local fabricator would be able to make one up for you. The parts they may not have are the flanges, but would use those off your front box.
Have not come across a Walker system, so don't know what their silencer might look like.
95 rear pipes were usually in two parts and is longer than the 96's. I have a 96V4 rear pipe that can be measured.

The Walker V4 exhausts are utter rubbish, speaking from experience. You wonder where they get their steel, I've rarely seen such poor quality. I think Bosal also do standard exhaust parts still, used to be OK stuff at least. Have you tried Eurocarparts or whatever they're called? Or eBay perhaps?

I would just buy a Jetex system. It won't cost much more than a standard exhaust, it's much more durable and it gives a modest performance boost, especially if you give the exhaust manifold a quick hit with a rotary burr. The only downside is the ugly and ill fitting tip, but if you can weld that is easily sorted by cutting it off the rear silencer and replacing it with a piece of straight (stainless) pipe. If you can't weld any engineering shop or blacksmith should be happy to help you out.

I was hoping someone would know.
The result of my researches so far is that the available standard system is by Walker. Unfortunately they don't list it in their UK catalogue but some parts are in their European catalogue. Then some companies in Europe (with .co.uk addresses) will ship anywhere..........except UK!
The front and rear boxes are easy enough to get. The pipes can be got, but I'm not sure if they're for 95 or 96. I'm told they're a bit different.
Front Box: Walker 06071
Rear Box: Walker O6073
Front pipe: Walker 06125
Rear pipe: Walker 06126
Rear box rubbers Walker 81232
