T O P I C R E V I E W | Souped Up | Posted - 10 May 2014 : 15:52:46 I've had my weber 32/36 dgv set-up on the Dyno earlier today.
Here's the engine spec;- 1530cc V4T1 Kent Cam, Team Blitz lightened tappets, stronger valve springs. Standard valves, hardened seats, bronze exhaust guides. Jetex exhaust with flanges bored to 42mm diameter, heads opened and blended to match exhaust. Weber 32/36DGV with 45mm ramair filter. Something close to the 11247 tuning kit from S&R catalogue.
This is what ended up in the carb;- Emulsion tube, primary F50, secondary F6. Air Correction, Primary 140, secondary 170. Main Jet, Primary 125, secondary 130. Aux venturis both 3.5. Idle Jet, Primary 50, secondary 55.
This gave 89lbft of Torque at 3716 Rpm and 81BHP at 5074 Rpm. The sympathetic dyno man didn't want to rev it beyond that, but the power was still rising.
This matches nicely with the Saab figures in the back of the S&R catalogue, so I'm a happy bunny | 5 L A T E S T R E P L I E S (Newest First) | 72sonett3 | Posted - 31 May 2014 : 21:26:02 quote: Originally posted by Souped Up I've had my weber 32/36 dgv set-up on the Dyno earlier today.

I bought them via ebay from Team Blitz in the USA. They were listed for a Cologne V6, but they were happy to send me a set of 8 for the V4. They worked out a bit pricey, about £80 the set after delivery and Duty. The exchange rate has improved now tho'. Cheers Jeff | beta | Posted - 15 May 2014 : 17:52:36 Hi Jeff Good report on your Dyno day. Where did you source the cam followers? Are they slightly lighter than standard and are they specific for the Kent cam. Thanks Paul | Souped Up | Posted - 10 May 2014 : 23:29:18 Hi Alex,
The cam is quite mild,
7.31 inlet 7.43 exhaust
You can get the full spec on www.kentcams.com Search ford Granada and look at the V6T1 cam.
Jeff | Borstlap | Posted - 10 May 2014 : 19:23:44 How wild is that cam you are using? What can it be compared with?
