Hi Woody, a while back you gave some good advice on US spec front grilles. I have got hold of the brightwork but don't have the back plates that support the lights. Do you know if these are the same as that on any other car? There must be something out there that supports the lights in the same way...
Thanks, Gareth

Below pics for reference. I have not managed to identify any other vehicle that the units were installed in. Hella SB24 is marked on some of the components and the oval paper label was on the left headlamp holder assy. However recently discovered a pic of headlight holders off a BMW 2002 and the components are similar though unsure if it could be modified to get it to fit the panel. But an arm would need to be made to support the side grills and decor frame each side.

Thanks Woody. Will look at a 2002 if I can find one! Your pics also prompted me to look at some two stroke type headlamp holders and these could be made to fit relatively easily. Would like it to look original though but there's a plan if I don't find any. Have read lots of your tech replies, where have you gained all your knowledge?
Cheers, Gareth
