In case you are not aware of this thread on another forum. It might be an idea for members here to flag up bits they'd like to see manufactured again, or parts that are hard to source, for our 96's.

May not come to anything, but the option to raise ideas is there, and anything to help our cars to stay on the road can only be a bonus.

The wee wedge-shaped rubber bits at the front edge of the door frame

Before he died so tragically Rolf Jensen in Sweden used to have a good number of things on the above lists. Skandix.com have quite a few of the things now, although I am not sure of their stock status - for example they didnt have a radiator bottom hose although it was listed in their catalogue.

Skandix bought a lot of their odd spares from the swedish club so I guess that they can not continue selling these items.

All of the above especially repair panels for common rot areas, Front valances, door skins etc.
Take a look at Volkspares or VW Heritage, they have it well sorted.

Unfortunatly most of the panels are a poor fit and made of poor/thin steel...they also have a sure market as millions were made and millions are still on the road.
