| Hi Mads, can I legally use wheel spacers in DK? My car is still on Dutch plates, spacers are illegal in NL...

| Melle: No they are not public road legal here in DK either. I doubt there will be problems, however there could be insurance issues should you end up in an accident. I took a couple of photos of my spacers: Size in mm: 25 or about 1 inch Hmm? Imageshack decided to flip my last photo for some reason I can take some more photos if you like.
Best regards, Mads | |

| Mads, they are superb photos,Im sure that my father in law will appreciate them. Been looking at alloy wheels all today, think Im going towards the BMW Mini ones as they use a 175x65x15 tyre, but the Rover ones are a close second at the moment. The one I quite like is the Rover Fission type, looks like a Minilite lookalike but comes in a 6J width. Peugeot do some nice ones as well, and Fox Racing do,

Don't buy anything until you know it will fit. Those over there that have used these spacers will have made the mistakes already and know the answers. Any wheel will be a bit further out, and getting a standard wheel under the rear with a slightly bigger tyre is bad enough. Mini ones might work, they look as if the shape would help to keep them a bit more inboard. | |

| Once you cost the price of the material and the price of the wheel studs (dont use cheap rubbish screws)is it worth messing with for £280????? | |

| Unfortunately the sizes were not put on the advert and I assumed they were 5.5Jx185x55x15 but they are 6Jx195x55x15 so I will have to sell these again and get some slightly smaller ones. They do look good though dont they??

| He had that sticker for ages apparently,he may not remember. I dont know his phone number or address but I am sure someone on here will and let you know. BTW the lines you can see on the sticker are pinstripe lines, applied after the sticker. Chris | |

| 99 minilite type alloys will fit a 96 if it has the 4 stud Monte Carlo hubs and they don't need the spacers, but I expect you know that. Don't know if the 5 1/2" 99 wheels will fit under the rear arches with spacers but you might have to have fairly narrow tyres to make it happen. Saab wheel info http://jpowell.tripod.com/saab-wheels/
