Combination of UV light and heat I suppose certainly looks as if the glue has hardened browned and cracked - shame I know what it means to preserve the original ones! Amazingly mine survived every accident and roll the car ever had and hopefully are still intact with the new owner. In fairness the car spent most of it's time in a garage though.
