| Try Malbrads first, then FW Thorntons. V6 pumps have been listed on Ebay recently. But if your pump is OK all you need is an HD spring and new cap. | |

| You could try Sutton rebore, they have some bits and pieces. They supply to Nick Senecal. | |

| Thanks Guys and keep them coming.
It looks like the HP Oil Pump although listed in many places including Burton and motomobil etc is actually not in stock with not resupply date.
So if anyone has one, or as Woody says just the HD spring, I'm up for it.

| I have been trying to source a new oil pump, as you have said Tristared, they are available in the States at $50 plus tax for a standard Melling M87 and $75 plus tax for the M87 HV ( high volume) The problem is postage, $52!! Drive shafts, melling IS87 $7, a bit different from Burtons £25. Without a US issued credit card and billing address it is almost impossible to buy on the net. | |

| Yeah getting stuff from the US can be very costly especially if HM Customs then dip their hand in your wallet - they place an import tax on not only the item cost but also the shipping and then can tax the tax by adding VAT to the lot! (I have found to my cost in the past only to open the package to find the item broken!!!)
I now have cam bearings from Burton, Big end and main journals from South Cerney Engineering and balance shaft bearings from Malbrad. I also picked up a 1700 crank spigot bush from ebay along with some new 90.8mm Pinto pistons.
Oil pump still to come | |

| Kent do the oil pumps

I dont know if thorntons will have many balance shaft bearings left, someone bought a load up years ago (he says whistling). I probably have some left if you are really struggling.
Scandix is ok for normal engines but I would like something a bit better for mains etc on a performace engine.
Spe*****ed engines might also be able to help.

| Don't forget that the Sonett Club in Sweden has parts and I don't believe you are subjected to import duty. http://www.sonettclub.se/Club_Sonett_Sweden-eng/Spare_parts.html
I can always order the parts for you if needed. I need to make an order for door and back window seals plus the upgrade to the rear window with the lifting gas struts. | |

| Thanks for help melle with inserting photos, I have been using the quick reply format!
The pump is a standard one as I didn't see any point in using a high volume or high pressure one with new bearings. Lots of discussions about the use of hv or hp pumps, the possibility of wasted bhp driving a pump that is dumping pressure and excess volume back into the sump swayed me. I picked it up from O'Reilly in Savannah.
Ian,
Thank you for contacting O'Reilly Auto parts. The stores in the Savannah, Georgia area do not stock this part number but they can order it from their local warehouse. It usually takes them about a day to get it transferred from the warehouse to the store. My suggestion would be to contact the store as your arrival approaches and have them order one from the warehouse for you. They will hold it for up to a week at the store before the system tags it to be returned to the warehouse. Here is a link to the stores in that area: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/fi/storeresults/Savannah/GA/5.oap.
We appreciate your business.
Sincerely,
Peter
