| Thanks everybody. When I first decided to look at this it was a bit of a "I wonder if it's worth the effort?". Obviously it seems that there is a need. I am still waiting for on cost to come in, I expect that this week Before the 5th Aug 2017. As soon as I have that I will advise, and probably give the go ahead to suppliers. There are several, it was the best way to get favourable prices. Once I have notified that we are on our way. Just to be totally clear and avoid any confusion, a set does one wheel. Once the "early birds" have been advised by private messages, anybody else will be paying a bit more. It's going to mean I outlay a few thousand £s, so I really need to get some back as I pay the suppliers. Also obvious is that I need to make a small amount to cover the risk. Not much, but... (I am sure you all understand) | |

| We won't use that then Melle, I had wondered about that in the past. As soon as I have the numbers, I will post and add an email instead!

| Not too late John, I was just about to chase up the last quotation! I have been advised that the company I am chasing for that last figure is on shutdown till next week. They say good things take time! | Edited by - RhysN on 09 Aug 2017 09:05:21 | |

| Just doing all the last checking, and a pic sent by Martin from Skandix show what looks almost like a "top hat" washer, which wasn't in the pieces Melle sent. Can anybody confirm or deny please? I think this is stacking up to be very viable for you in need. I finally found someone to stamp out the brackets, the last remaining "hard" part". Springs are readily doable as is everything else. Watch this space, some firms on summer shut down slowed things a little. | |

| I can take a look at my caliper tonight and see it the "top hat" washer is there
Thanks for doing this - hoping this gets rid of the rattly noises in my suspension on the very smooth Canadian roads!! (they're not, they're bloody awful!)

| Rhys, the top hat washer, or bush or whatever you call it, was stuck firmly on the small pin so it should be there! See my pic on page 3 of this thread.

And here was I thinking that was a thin wall tube whereas the washer shown in the pic I looked at looked very different. Never mind, onwards. | |

| Sorry Melle, I was comparing the part adjacent to part #8 on the pic you sent on July 22 and the Pic of the Skandix set, top left part which 72Sonnet3 posted on 19 May. They appear very different. A chat with Malbrad this afternoon said to be careful about a couple of things; length of the pin, and that sleeve, so which is the one to go for!! If I get it wrong, nobody will be happy, and I will have outlaid a lot of £££ for scrap.Without being very confident I have it right, the project has to stall. Malbrad have one "virgin" set and are measuring the pin. Apparently there were some supplied too short so there wasn't enough to rivet, which is part of why they are unobtanium. | |

| Good to hear you have Malbrad aboard. I've never studied these parts in detail, the best information I have is what I sent you.

| Just in case anybody is wondering... This project is stalled until we discover which is the correct version of the "top hat" as shown in the Skandix pic, or the piece of very thin wall tube on the pin which Melle sent. As you can imagine, making them wrong would cost a few thousand pounds and have some very expensive scrap which I can't justify, and you as "customers" would be very unhappy to receive "bad" parts. | |

| Now that I have managed to find a car somewhat locally, I plan to get this project back trundling. I still have the list of interest from previously, and will contact all to see if there is still interest. | |
