| I have seen this 1973 yellow 99 once before. Unbelievably following him home it lives 5 doors down from me and from the registration check it has done 19,500 miles and looks mint. It seems to just get MOT,d each year. I have spoken to the owner once before and my son goes to school with his grandson. I didn,t realise he had that in the garage and I doubt he knows what I have in mine.
Think it is about time I introduced myself properly to him.

| My mother had a '73 yellow 99 - an LEA (auto, fuel injected). It went like stink, but was not the most economical of cars! The colour suited it really well, especially with the black rubber bumpers. When she gave up driving and moved in with us, my wife drove it for quite a time, but it was really to big, heavy and thirsty for shopping and the school runs. We eventually traded it in for something smaller, lighter and more economical.
We used to see it around for a couple of years after we sold it, but it hasn't been registered for a while now. Probably scrapped, I guess....

I dislike most alloys (on any car), but I wonder what a 96 with Wolfrace slot mags would look like.
