If the oil pressure does not drop a lot at a hot engine, I do not see any problems.

Have you checked the balancing shaft bearing, front?

... it does not say it's cold or hot engine.
Or at what rpm.
It opens at +/-4 bar, regardless of RPM or oil temp.

Quick update, I got a new 9 PSI ACDelco pressure sensor today, and hooked it up with a light & 9v battery (for testing).
At cranking speed (coil disconnected), the light now shuts off within 1-1.5 seconds.
When running at idle, the light shuts off at, or before the first cylinder fires.

Both these tests were done when the engine was cold, and I used an electrical tester in place of the light circuit as well.
The tester showed the same results as the light.

Fuling - The bearings appear to have no slop in-line with the shaft.

You mean axial?
What if you move the pulley up and down with your hand, do you feel any play?

Oops, please excuse my terminology.
Yes that is what I mean, I have lifted the pulley up & down, side to side, and there is no axial play.

Sorry, I expressed myself unequivocally.
Yes, but it does not say what you get for oil pressure at different rpm and oil temp.
Just a guide, clue about maximum pressure.

Are "slop" and "play" the same?
Which word is best to use?

Terminology:
Up & down, side to side = radially
In & out = axially
If I have not misunderstood the case now

Seems promising

When did you stop cranking speed (coil disconnected), light on again immediately or after a short time?
Direct = Large leakage, too much worn engines
After a little time = ok (1-2s)

This I know should work with 10W-30 (10W-40) oil.
So, all my V4s have been, every day of the week cars.
With unknown condition.

One thought, try again with 10W-30. Does it work so well :)
Then go on 20W-50 in the car.

There was definitely a short time that the light stayed off after stopping the starter motor. This was after cranking it for 2-4 seconds.
I'll try the 10/30 soon.

Yes, the same, but a better term is 'backlash'.

I think in Swedish it is löshet or dödgång.

Slop is a LOT of play.
