Having just bought a motorbike I am selling most of my prized possessions that are very nice to have but will never need. It is a SAAB de cluttering exercise to appease my wife!!

Dotty a K reg 96V4 project in Torreador Red. This is the sister car to the blue one being done up in Practical Classics. They were one registration number different before the original reg on the blue was taken off the car. Dotty still has her original reg DOT 723K. She is well documented on here in the projects section and on the SAABV4 forum and pictured in one of the SAAB Driver magazines this year. She is quite desireable because of her correct colour and age for a rally replica 8) £700 no offers

Provisionally SOLD

SAAB wood steering wheel as seen on the Two Strokes. Comes complete with original boss, horn push etc, £350. SOLD

SAAB Sport & Rally 96 V4 steering wheel, in lovely original condition although the red stitching is not as bright as it was new. Comes complete with original push and boss? £200. SOLD

All desireable stuff Betsy but I don,t need it. I maybe buying another wood rim two stroke wheel with working horn push if anyone is interested let me know. No idea of condition etc at the moment. Five soccerballs already sold Betsy sorry, they wouldn,t look right on yours anyway, yours is too nice to put ugly later period soccerballs on. I am just going to keep my opal green 96 stock, standard hub capped wheels which I like, no stripes, fog lights etc. I have had a few enquiries about my 96 but It is a keeper, it,s too important to me, part of the family, my kids will have it one day. Looking forward to getting back on with her renovation in January when my work quietens down a bit hopefully.

Shame you sold your bike Betsy but time is always a problem with toys I suppose. I have made some new mates already and we are planning on a few meets and a tour somewhere next year... The bike hasn,t even been delivered yet! Can,t wait for it to arrive, dusted off my riding gear today GRIN.

For me the only thing that lets the 96 down is the lack of choice in a/m wheels. I don’t think either the soccer balls or HSP do the job properly, but they’re all that’s available.
Hope you have many enjoyable and carefree miles on the bike. Not many days left until spring to enjoy it though.
