Hi looking for a decent straight Saab 96 for my son must be road legal and a decent car not to much to spend up to 4000 any one know of any decent cars please reply

I got sucked into looking at the BSA Bushman replica... Im in Ross on Thursday, nearby but one day too late so not to be!

Thanks for that info I've been also given another lead but it's a 1700 cc engine ?? Not sure on this engine most I've had are 1500cc
1700cc overthrown crank ??? Not sure on this ?

Yes, 1700 engines exist and come in low compression (Sonett) and high compression flavour. A std. 1700HC engine gives a nice bit of extra bottom torque compared to a 1500. Search the forum, many threads on this topic.

The car at the auction sold for 3100 according to the website. I think that's a really good deal if the car is as good as it looks and sounds in the description.
The BSA went for 3200 - too much I think which is good as I would have been gutted to have missed it if it had been a bargain!

Hi ,
I have a 1972 Saab 96 for sale for 3000 in Coventry.

Reconditioned engine, new gaiters on drive shaft, new gaiters on steering rack and new shocks on the rear.

6 months left on current MOT (due end Sept 2018)
