I've just had a pair of Toyos fitted to the wheels I had powder coated. They are not back on the car yet as the rear suspension is fully stripped. If you're not in any hurry I'll report back when everything is back together
I've been running Toyos on my 96 almost since I got it (it came with some very shot Kuhmos). The rears have been on there nearly 10 years now, and still plenty of life left. The fronts haven't been on quite so long, but are showing little sign of needing replacement anytime soon. They are quite good grip-wise, fine in the wet and quiet. If you can get them, I would certainly recommend them as a general road use tyre.

Hi, I've got Toyo 155s on the front of my 96 and no complaints. They do look a bit like a modern tyre though if you are worried about originality. When I replace I will definitely go for 165s for the change in gearing. They are quite a bit bigger when you stand both next to each other. Cheers
