just putting my '68 back together...i'm not going to fit the vent hole covers (on the c-post), the ones with the Saab badge....i think they've got too many moisture traps etc....has anyone sourced a louvred circular thingy to fit?....if not, i'll just have to make them....Adrian

I have a pair of elephant ears. Not brilliant but might clean up.

Thumbs down from me I'm afraid. Seeing your comment about the 900 boot seal not being designed for the job would make me think that you'd prefer the originals. They are a feature of the car and although the Saab badges usually need replacing I've never read of anyone having rust problems with them. They also work but yours may not like being washed by what comes up from a truck when overtaking one on a sodden motorway.

Those vent covers are venturi's which create a vacuum and draw air through the body cavities as the car moves thus removing condensation.

By pointing them rearwards you will still get the air movement through the bodywork.......
