| Just had a rummage in the shed and yes I have one that is spare. If you drop me a PM with your address I can get it posted out Friday. No idea how much to ask, I’ll leave that up to you [:-)]. Or I can bob it on EBay with ‘offer’ if it’s easier. Easier to get a pic on too, so we know it’s what you’re looking for. | Edited by - Betsy67 on 05 Sep 2018 18:02:32 | |

| €80 is insane, I pay about €10 for a good one (= no signs of cavitation) in Europe. I have loads, but just came home yesterday and not going to NL until December... I would simply replace the straight outlet on the cover you have with a T.

| I realise now that I have made a boo boo.
The engine currently on the car has 3 outlets, and does NOT have the pipe that comes up to the top of the engine, to Tee into the line running across the top of the engine from the thermostat housing to the heater. My spare re-conditioned engine on the bench has a water pump back plate with FOUR outlets, two large two small. The 4th outlet being for the pipe to run up to the top of the engine. There's no hurry at all Melle. If you happen to find a 4 outlet back plate when you next go to NL, let me know. There's no way of unscrewing these connections, they're almost "welded"into the housing. I could cut the rubber hose and put a Tee in, but that's just more hose connections that could leak.
I've changed the title of the thread.

| All back plates are the same, it's only the screw-in outlets that differ. Heat it up gently and it'll screw out, I've replaced a few. Can't remember the thread size, guess it's 1/2" NPT, and I can't remember where I got the tees from, presumably eBay or the likes of Car Builder Solutions. Remind me around Christmas if you don't succeed and I'll have a look.
