This has been sort of hanging around in my mind for a while now. Winter approaches, wifey needs a new car and Betsy gets too little use etc etc.
There should be some pictures hanging around somewhere in the projects forums. Getting a bit tatty around the edges but still presentable. Retrimmed seats. S/S bumpers. Webber 28/36. Jetex. Heads slightly ported. Apparently quite an early V4 with small windows. Looking for £5500 ono.
Also have a set of Soccerballs c/w sweedspeed nuts. Spare gearbox. Spare stripped engine currently being built as a 1.7. Which will become ‘for sale’ if Betsy sells. Various other parts too.
This isn’t a must sell, so any silly offers will be met with true Yorkshire bluntness [:-)]
If you send me an Email please let me know on here as I don’t check them that often.
Thank you.

Hi.
Did see your ‘wanted’ a while ago and almost contacted you.
Not really sure about selling them before Betsy goes. Took me a couple of years to get hold of them and had to import from USA.

I will be in Seattle in about 10 days and meeting a few Saab owners/enthusiasts. I had intended to try to buy a set while there, just saw your note and thought ...

The guy I bought them off said he had ‘broken’ (different meaning in th US) a few Sonnets. I thought it was worth a punt to see if he had a 1.7 crank - to which he replied he probably has and will have a nosey. That came over to England too [:-)] Very nice and helpful gentleman he was too.
Good luck
