Nah, I want to enjoy working on it a bit longer. I'm going to flip it on its side and hope to get the floor done front to back.

A little more progress...

Melle - I don't blame you, take your time, do it properly and enjoy it!

Hi All,
Bit more done on this one. Engine bay refit well under way:

Which meant a trip down to the "Engine Shed" to collect its engine and box:

All those other wheeled objects are my excuse for slow progress!

Cheers

95 is alive!

https://flic.kr/p/LAjqbk

Not sure if there is a better way to link a video...?

Runs well, drove it in and out of the garage then started losing water from the rad cap so will need to investigate.

Happy days though!

Looking back, that's an "interesting" clutch plate when compared to the segmented ones shown in another current thread. Does anyone want to make comments about this one?

See the Saab Sport & Rally (SSR) catalog. The 4 spring one was the standard one, the 6 spring was the "extra reinforced" but now used as standard replacement.

Not got much further on this, partly because I have been on holiday and partly because I used the wrong sized bolts (long) for the radiator mountings and now have two holes in either side of the radiator...
The clutch has barely been used but the history I have been told of the car indicates it was given an overhaul with an engine rebuild and external respray, run around the block then taken off the road. The owner decided he wanted to respray the engine bay so pulled the engine and box then got distracted... This would mean the clutch would have been new some years ago.
Melle - yes, Nikki Carb. Mainly fitted as I was struggling to get it running and wanted to see for sure I was getting fuel through.
Hopefully get the radiator sorted this week. I did have a spare with a damaged expansion tank filler which I soldered back on but discovered water leaked out of just about everywhere else on this one!
Cheers

Is the Nikki fitted to a single choke manifold with an SAH adaptor? Edit: just followed your link in another thread: http://www.saab-v4.co.uk/speedball/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8278

You need 1/2" long 5/16" UNC bolts for the rad.
