Having pulled apart my master cylinder and fitted new seals (purchased via John Saab) - I have a couple of questions about putting it back together...

Firstly - I assume I need to push the secondary piston in far enough in so I can insert the pin (circled) so that it sits behind the outer/first piston seal?
Hope I've described that OK!?

Secondly - I didn't make note of which spring is which, assuming they were the same, but they are different lengths - are they also different strengths too - if so - which one goes where?

Any help will be gratefully received!

This type of M/C is the ATE, and there is very little info about it in the manuals, only a diagram.
A spec sheet I have from Lockheed refers to two types of spring, a plain spring and a black spring.
I am reading the possibility that the black spring is stronger than the plain spring, and the black spring should be on the secondary piston ie first into the bore.
This suggests to me that you need to change your springs around. Are you sure that the rubber cups are placed as you removed them?
Melle's website has an english workshop manual with diagram of the M/C and the cups are shown differently. But it would not be the first time that a diagram is wrong.
I have checked the Ate website and they don't show any useful information.

I have it from a very good source that I managed to get it all the wrong way round!

The piston on the right should be the secondary piston and the black (stronger) spring should go in first.

I'll have a read of that thread - thank you for your help Woody, very much appreciated!

For future reference - here is a photo of the pistons/springs/seals in the correct order...

A photo I should have taken when I took it apart!
