| Here's what I hope will help with the dreaded resonance issue...
hopefully it will reduce any vibration from the manifold and it also doubles up as an extension piece, meaning the 96 system now fits the 95!
I also installed these (thank you John) which is also meant to help...
Only time will tell, I'll let you know how I get on. | Edited by - UK_Sub on 16 Jul 2016 19:17:49 | |

| Years ago when I went to Brian Butler for a new exhaust when I got Mr Brown, the one he sold me had the bracket on the pipe way off from the position to use it directly with the bobbins. He said he was fed up of complaining that they were welding it in the wrong place. Looks like nothing has changed. I just put a pair of bars from the bracket to the bottom of the bobbins. | |

| Looking good Simon, I might try that as well. What did you do with the old exhaust? Was it only the front part that was rotten? I want to fabricate the downpipes for my 95 myself and use the standard Jetex dampers from there onwards (with my current speed of progress around the 2028 summer holidays).

| 99% sure the pickup will be painted (eventually) a nice shade of Hussar blue, but saw this over the weekend...
What do you think, too much?
Can't think why gold bumpers aren't more common?
Now that I have a bed cover, there's no reason why I couldn't go 'plush'

| Working on the early V4 dash electrics, going by a '67 wiring diagram, but hope to compare it to an actual '67 dash fairly soon, to see how close I got...

| Thanks I've seen them before, fairly sure he did a pickup sketch too?
Been working on my dash electrics again. Realised I was working with plans for a '67 dash, when mine was more likely a '69 dash! It at least mean there's not a lot of difference between the two ('69 and '74) wiring diagrams.
Hopefully get it wired in soon!...

| The spindles are OK (now), but the plastic cups on the spindle-to-spindle arm are a little worn - any idea where one can get new ones?

| You could perhaps replace the linkages with throttle ball joints and rods? I don't have any spares unfortunately.
