I've had a few offers to buy the pickup recently, which has made me give it some serious thought...

Especially as I'm about to spend more money and time getting the body ready for paint - although many people tell me to leave it as is.

I've no idea what it's worth, but would sell it for a decent price and it seemed wrong to put the word out anywhere else but here (to start with)...

If you're interested, send me a PM.

I don't think you're ready to sell it - I don't feel like you've seen it through like the orange 95 and I'm still looking forward to seeing where you go with it. I think leave the body as it is but I was expecting a proper paint job at some point.

Your truck though and best of luck whichever way you go!

Trouble is Simon, you may only get half price as half of it is missing

I wonder what she would look like with a canvas tilt. Probably terrible, just a random thought!

Hope you keep her mate, she is the coolest SAAB out there

I keep meaning to have a go at photoshopping that. Some of the VW pickup covers look great...

Sorry, of course!

You sure you don't want a sister car in orange - or liveried up with your company logo ;)

I'd love a sister car for her, if it was your pick up I'd probably leave the paint as is and investigate an electric conversion as the drive trains seem more readily available now and much more practical...... I know people are going to think I'm a heretic, but I think Saab would have gone down that route given the chance....

Isn't the next 'Saab' (NEVS) going to be electric along the lines of the Tesla sports cars?

So why not - it could even be hooked up to the original gearbox, so long as the available torque didn't rip it to shreds.

I have a friend with a '54 92b who was thinking along these lines... especially as the original engine is quite slow!
