| So, back at it this weekend, spent most of the time redoing paint (boot and kick plate under the back seat) as the last batch of paint was just a little off (paint shop were able to match the paint via their spectrometer on one of the painted panels rather than going off the GN7 code)
Then start to put it back together, headline going in nicely!!

| NAPA paint supplies (sadly the only place in town for mixed automotive paint) the last batch was incredibly soft too, which when I queried they told me their supplier had a problem with the activator in it!!!!!

| I have never been a fan of them. Forunately I have a few sources around the Markham area where I work. Is the paint a single stage? | |

| yes, the car was painted in 2pack (I think they call it single stage here) most paint shops here wanted to do the panels basecoat/clear (despite the body already being 2pack and I still had the paint for the panels) luckily I found an old school painter that could work with the 2pack. I've never understood the justification on basecoat/clear for solid colours.... | |

| Is the painter in the Peterbourgh area. I want to do the 95 in single stage. That's what they were painted with back then. should stay that way. Mine is a long way from paint unfortunately. I pick up the rust bucket =) this weekend from outside Montreal, a 7.5 hr drive each way | |

| He is, Jack's Autobody, bit of a Classic Car expert and has the attitude of "if it will go in a spraygun, I can get it on a panel" | |

| More time on the car this weekend, stretched the new headliner and fixed it into place, which now means I can start fitting window rubbers and interior parts!
First piece of glass back in and the badge panel fitted

| Wow - I do like that colour! Not normally a great fan of green (although I did like my "BRG" '66 MGB GT back in the 70s) but I think that looks very smart. Good reading - good luck for the finishing touches.

| Thanks Blue (and others) colour is Tyrol Green and as far as I can see SAAB only ran it for 1 year, but it is fairly close to BRG | |

| more panels fitted, door is a little off at the bottom edge when closed, so going to have to figure that out
excuse the bad lighting on this one, sun was streaming in the early morning and making the paint look horrible!!
Big show in Ontario 3rd week of September, aiming for that!!! (haven't fired the engine up yet though, fingers crossed it's all back together correctly!!)
