Has anyone got experience of recently fitting these ?
I have bought a rear nearside wing that has no petrol filler hole cut .
The car is a 1975 with a “recessed hole “ rather than I think the older models which had an “external “ filler .
Can you fit the newer petrol filler to a flat wing and what do I need ,or do I have to glass in a recess to take what is on the car at present ?
Any help or suggestions gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
John

I bought a set of fibre glass wings from MSA Autobodies. I fitted the rear ones, and though they took a bit of "fettling", they fitted very well in the end.
Woody - What's the link for your Facebook page?

I had ordered 4 wings from MSA Autobodies as I had read good things about them but as the date of delivery approached they would not answer the phone nor e mails so I assume they have gone bust .
A real pain as they looked a good product so I ordered from another company who did not produce the recessed filler type of wing ,hence my query.

Thanks to Woody and a couple of others, I think, subject to fettling they can be sorted.

I think that there was something in last quarter's SAAB Owners Club magazine about MSA going bust, but I think it also said that they still had the moulds for the wings, and would continue to supply them.
I think Alistair Philpott will have the detals.
