| I actually don't mind the chop; usually I hate such modifications with a vengeance but that is mild and makes the V4 just look more like a 2 stroke.

| I'm not a fan of it, perhaps because I don't like the shape of the two stroke models (nor do I like their stinky engines!).
Haven't heard back from the seller unfortunately.

| I don't hate the roof chop either and usually not a fan.
I am a fan of the gearbox - I have thought about one day trying to fit one of these. It looks more comfortable in there than I imagined it would although I am guessing it protrudes into the cabin - possibly visible in one of the photos?

| With its straight cut gears that's not something you want to use on the road I suppose!
Gareth, do you know what type of Audi gearbox is in the grey 96? Nothing else visible than the pic I posted above, the photos aren't great anyway. I have no issues with standard V4 boxes, but I sure do like a technical challenge!

| The chop might have ben planned around the use of the earlier shorter/smaller front screen. They aren't common but perhaps a better idea economically than having a custom one made. Whatever the Audi box is I'm sure that the 5th speed would be welcome. | Edited by - Derek on 19 Sep 2020 13:31:59 | |

| It certainly is, like fine wine and Michelin star dining, something for connoisseurs – that's not me I'm afraid Roger.

| Overhauled gearbox now for sale separately for €650: https://www.marktplaats.nl/m1991775620 May be worth asking if they plan to come to the International in August? I won't have space in my car next time I'm going to NL, should anyone be asking.
