| Have just competed in the John Aley Trial, run by The Motorcycle Club, Britain's oldest sporting motor club. This was an all nighter, we started from Chard at 02.00am and finished at Blue Hills, near Perranporth in Cornwall 14 hrs later having attempted 14 hills along the way. These Classic Trials are not a race but a challenge to see if you and your car can get up that particular hill. Tiring but a challenge and great fun. The Saab does quite well considering. Could always do with a bit more power. Here is a clip from Simms hill Ilsington, in Devon. https://youtu.be/HMWKr0mxxsE

| Enjoyed the You Tube clip Ratty. It’s quite few years since I did any trialing. Used a Hillman Imp back then. I must get into it again. Cheers

| Dyno, yes good cheap sport, great people. Hopefully Exeter, Lands End, Tamar trials to come. Not many Hillman Imps but see them occasionally. good trials car if set up right. Gareth yes good mix of cars. Karl and I are fine. Hopefully Karl will have his car back on the road soon after his rolypoly! We all ought to have a local meet up sometime this summer. All the best, Nigel
