the steering wheel was a bit stiff noticed on roads turning at medium speed.

I bought the tool and add a certain ammount of grease, but how do I know if it is enough?

I added grease on different positions moving the steering rack form left to right and viceversa. Wheels on floor.

It has improved noticeable but maybe can add more.

If I add too much can I damage something?

Thanks Woody, no problem, is a good direction as I did not find anything in Haynes either.

I will add grease step by step until no improvement is noticed.

The workshop manual advises that the steering should be turned to full left lock when greasing.
I am assuming due to lack of verification that this applies to LHD vehicles, which applies to you.
Therefore RHD vehicles should turn to full right for greasing.
Had a quick scan of Haynes which I have not looked at for years and did not see anything.
Apologies if I missed anything.
