| Hi,
I’ve lost one needle roller from an inner drive joint.
Does anyone have a source for these.
I can find a supplier. Who has 2.5 x 11.8 rounded ends. Near enough ? (: )

| I have loads, but not going to my workshop in NL before July I'm afraid. Iirc they are 2.5x12mm, most (online) bearing suppliers will be able to sort you out if no one here does.

I'll probably have to get in touch before you go to NL, but I've looked everywhere on line but have only been able to find 11.8s.
I've orded some earlier this p.m. just to try the fit.I was thinking molygrease would take up the 0.2 mm difference (as long as I dont think too mush about it)
Must catch up over a pint next time I am down in Bath.

I have notes that needle bearings are available from classicsaabparts.nl, however, I have not purchased any. Unfortunately, I failed to record the source of this info, but came from a facebook vinatage saab page such as saab restoration and preservation. Hope this helps.

| I found these in my spares - but I assume they are for 2-stroke driveshafts as the needle bearing looks thicker and I've not seen rubber boots on these before!?
Have you got any spare ones you could send to me too Woody?
If so, I'm happy to send a SAE to take care of the postage side of things (post is so expensive these days!).

| My longnose 2 stroke has a 4speed box and the drive shaft is as the V4 with alternative bell housing.

| The needle rollers are 12mm long and 0.10" in diameter in the V4.
I have found a cup with 24 rollers in the spares boxes. There should be two more cups to complete two drive shafts with CV joints from my second SaabV4, but I have not found them yet.

| Checked one of the driveshafts and there should be 25 needle rollers so my other cup was missing one.
