hello everyone this is me trying to put photos on have finally got it .got her in november last year she had been re-painted in 1989 by a firm in london also waxoiled .the lady ran her for 4 years until 1993 when it developed a bad oil leek it has done 105k from what i can make out speedo reads 5k approx.she put it away in her barn until i was lucky enough to buy her.balance shaft bearings shot front seal leaking oil but fiber gear perfect.will add more photos and info as soon as i get time.thanks terry
Looks a good example, subject to seeing more photos. If you are going to have the balance shaft bearings done, it might be wise to have everything else checked for wear, such as camshaft bushings, cylinder bores and main bearings. The cylinder heads may be ready for a decoke too. Looking forward to seeing more.
http://s1153.photobucket.com/user/ewartterrytelthejoiner/media/imagejpg1_zpse5d86f19.jpg.html?sort=6&o=7 hope this works stripped her down removed engine gearbox etc. got half an engine from hillbilly(gentleman by the way).car is in my friends paint shop to be sprayed needed to repair bottom of doors rest of body good only surface rust(how lucky is that )couple of dents to repair .busy working on making good engine i hope will need a few bits though which i will post on here hopefully you gents might have some parts spare.does anyone know where i can buy new rubbers etc for the windows in the doors thanks in anticipation terry
