| That looks good to me so thanks for all your hard work. The coloured runs make the diagram so much easier to follow especially when the old eyesight is below standard in us old gits (not including you in that). | Edited by - chris steeden on 06 Feb 2021 14:45:59 | |

| Oh don't worry, I'm falling into the "old git" category - hence why I did the drawing!! | |

| Thanks for doing this. Almost on topic, but where is the flasher unit mounted? I can't find it, assuming that it looks much like any other! | |

| On the diagram, dead center (looks a bit like the BMW sign) On the car, I believe right hand side of the steering/gear stick/ignition block under the dash but don't hold me to that as I haven't had a Saab for decades. | Edited by - chris steeden on 06 Feb 2021 19:43:13 | |

| Yes, simple on the wiring diagram, I couldn't find it on the car. Does it look like what I would expect, or weird cos it's Saab?

| Just let the flasher on and the clicking will guide you to the right place. | |

| That is excellent - thank you for taking the time to do this; much appreciated.
Certainly makes tracing wiring a lot easier. I have similar for my Daimler, it's A1 size laminated and that is a real treat for my old eyes !!
Regards.

Christophe, if it was clicking I wouldn't be asking! I'm not really as dumb as that :)

| Sorry, I did not intend to be rude. I thought your flasher was in working order. I have a few cars when I can hear it but still don't know precisely where it is located. | |

| I didn't take offence Christophe, just replying in the same vein. I have been told to look behind the light and fan switch, when the garage warms up with the heaters I turned on a few minutes back I will look. This may be another, "My fault because" moments :) Solved, the relay I have is nothing like the one Woody has posted below, and has 4 terminals, I took wires off one at a time and cleaned then replaced. All good.

| Thanks. I could have a look at my own car but as it is a LHD model, I don't think this could be of any help in this case. Besides, someone has already "tweaked" my wiring circuit. I have a blinking LED under the dashboard and its function is totally unknown, at least to me... | |
